A small pottery company who produced toby & character jugs.
The name comes from the surname 'Clayton' of the founder of the company and his wife's maiden name 'Cooper'
Cooper Clayton Pottery closed in the early 1950's - they sold the moulds to Sterling Pottery who then made these jugs and
marketed them as "Clayton Cooper Characters by Sterling"
