Born 1877 at Highbury, London. Son of late Emley Thomas Young, B.A., F.R.A.S.
Educated at University College School and St. Bartholomew's Hospital.

Married, 1912, Elsie Maud, daughter of Col. H. Palmer, J.P., V.D.

Surgeon N. Staffs. Royal Infirmary and Longton Hospital; 
Cons. Surgeon to the Public Assistance Committee, Leek and Market Drayton Cottage Hospitals and Cripples' Hospital; 
Ex-President Abernethian Society; 
Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine and Medical Society of London. 
Member of the Surgical Union of Great Britain and International Congress of Surgeons.
