William H Goss
(just behind and to the right
of Colin Minton Campbell's monument)
Goss (1833-1906)
Goss perfected a methods of improving the
finish of jewelled
porcelain and invented the body and enamels for the
heraldic china by which he is best known today.
His factory was the Falcon Works, Kirkham Street,
Stoke
(now occupied by occupied Portmeirion Potteries Ltd
