Photographs of the brochure supplied by Bob Johnson - his Great Grandfather was the Robert Johnson who set up Johnson Bros for the three eldest of his nine sons.
Then he bought Alfred Meakin which he divided into Alfred Meakin (Tunstall) Ltd and
H & R Johnson tile company.
Bob Johnson's grandfather, Arthur Stuart Johnson, father, Reginald Settle Johnson, and himself ran Alfred Meakin until it was sold to Myotts.
