China ware decorators - originally at the Adderley Works, Sutherland Road, Longton and then at Newstead, Trentham Stoke-on-Trent, England. 

 

  • The business started primarily as a designer and printer of decals for pottery decoration. Production of promotional and commemorative ware, particularly mugs was also undertake. Imported blank ware was used for decorating.

  • The partners were Jason Simms and Andrew Tooth  

  • In 2019 Heraldic Pottery acquired the then struggling Duchess China.

  • Heraldic Pottery experience a downturn in work and in 2024 all the Heraldic Pottery employees were transferred to Duchess China 1888 Ltd. 

  • In February 2025 Heraldic Pottery entered into voluntary liquidation with debts amounting to more than £850,000.
